Dear Teacher,
Please be patient. You know this well, but it may be
the first time your student has ever seen it.

Dear Student,
Please be patient. Your teacher knows this well, but
it may be the first time she’s ever taught it.
Please be patient with yourself, too. You are learning
this now, but may be called upon to teach it one day.
Remembering your struggle will help you feel
compassion to your students if they struggle, too.
