The 12 Laws of Karma

The 12 Laws of Karma were first recorded in Sanskrit, or, Ancient Hindu writings. They are present in all religions, as well as psychology and spiritualism, except not broken down into 12 Laws. The first Law is the one that all the others boil down to. It is the most encompassing and important. The other laws go into more specific detail on different aspects of the Great Law.

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law One: The Great Law
As you sow, so shall you reap.
"Do good, and good will come back to you.
Make sure to include consideration for yourself, so that others will, too."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Two: The Law of Creation
You attract what you are, not what you want.
"Similar to the Law of Attraction, you surround yourself with people and circumstances that reflect how you feel about yourself and the world. Opportunities are everywhere, all the time, but what you accept or refuse largely determines your closely connected reality."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Three: The Law of Humility
What you resist, persists for you.
"The energy of something that you do not want cannot be cleared by more of that same energy. To make a change, honestly evaluate your beliefs behind any lack or limitation in any area of your life. What would you like to see instead? Believe that is how things are with everything that is inside of you. Change will follow. Not by magic, but by your daily choices, reactions, and responses. These will unfold a world that reflects these beliefs instead."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Four: The Law of Growth
Wherever you go, there you are.
"Your surroundings are representative of the beliefs you have about yourself and the world. As you grow, you make different choices. Those different choices result in different consequences. Things happen in life that were out of our control, but what we choose to do after those is still very much up to us. Things change when you change."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Five: The Law of Mirrors
Wherever there is something wrong, there is something wrong in us.
"What we see in the world is a projection of our beliefs. This is why it's so difficult for good people to accept that anyone has bad intentions. If someone accuses you of things that weren't even a thought in your mind, realize they are showing you who they are and what they believe. It isn't up to you to change their beliefs, but it is up to you to decide if this is a person you want in your life, or not."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Six: The Law of Synchronicity
Whatever you do may seem unimportant, but it's important that you do it.
"Everything and every person in this world is connected. Every little good act builds another in some way, and every harsh act creates another in some day. Whatever you do doesn't end with you, but continues to ripple outwards. Do good, even if it doesn't seem to matter. It always does."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Seven: The Law of Direction and Motives
Your mind cannot be in two places at once.
"This is also called "The Law of Focus." Your mind can skip back and forth, but if you allow it to do that, you get nowhere except confused. Are you focused on the past or the present? Are you focused on constructive or destructive motives? What you focus on increases, and from where you are right now, every decision is leading to an outcome. You choose what to focus on and pursue, and the results follow down the road."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Eight: The Law of Willingness
What you believe to be true, your world will demonstrate to you.
"When temporary negative circumstances challenge your beliefs, you must hold on to your positive beliefs to get through. When you do, positive solutions and opportunities will open up before you."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Nine: The Law of "Be here, now"
You can't go home again, but you must try.
"Not your actual home, but your emotional home. the "you" who trusted fully and loved freely. Life has hurt you and shown you where you were vulnerable in so many ways. But, with the pain came wisdom. Your wisdom is your protection. You know now when to not trust someone anymore, and when to love, but from afar. Your true self is now safe to return."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Ten: The Law of Change
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
"If you are unhappy with someone or something in your life, just ending the relationship will not solve the problem. It will just reappear in your life with a different name and face. The reflection will be the same until the source becomes different. The lesson will repeat until it is learned. To see change in your world, it must start with you."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Eleven: The Law of Patience and Reward
When you focus on your life, good things happen.
"What you focus on increases. If you focus on what you are lacking compared to others, no matter how much you have, more will seem to be lacking. Focus on what you have. The good in your life, no matter how small. What you focus on increases. You will see."
-Doe Zantamata

The 12 Laws of Karma - Law Twelve: The Law of Value and Upliftment
The great things you do contribute to the value of the whole world.
"Our time here is short. Even a long life goes by in a flash. The good you do when you're here is what lives on. When you act out of love, our of kindness, and with generosity, you have made the world better because you were here. Every bit of good matters. Thank you for adding yours."
-Doe Zantamata
