Of all my posters, this one is my favorite. The photo was from a trip I took to Yosemite years ago before I ever thought of writing as a career/full-time. I took this shot and it didn't look that great, so I took another 20 but still the photo just looked kind of boring. The mountain was HUGE. If you look close, you can see tiny trees at the top. They're about 20 feet tall.

So fast forward to 2 years ago or so... I wanted to write a poster of all the things I've said or heard said at important times in life; times when encouragement is needed. Weddings, funerals, starting or finishing school or a job…I wrote them all down and wrote at the top "We believe what we tell ourselves." Then, this photo popped into my mind.

I thought WOW. Perfect!! The mountain is the challenge and the affirmations in the sky are what we put out to the Universe to get us through them. I had no idea when I shot it that I'd use it for anything one day. In fact, I was a little confused and frustrated with myself for not being able to get a decent photo of such a gorgeous scene.

The morals of the story are:

-when you're doing what you love, you're never wasting time.
-what you do today may not seem important but you may likely use what you do and learn today later on in life.
-follow your intuition, even if it doesn't make sense logically
-spend time in nature
