The end of the world (as we know it)

What if we found out tomorrow
there is a comet on its way,
that it will all be over
just three weeks from today?

Would we share all that we have,
would we be there for each other,
would we see every person on Earth
as our sister or brother?

Would we realize what we have
in this beautiful place,
would we realize what we are,
just one human race?

Would we wish we had more time
to enjoy this new peaceful life?

Well good news, there's no comet,
but it's time to end all the strife.
