Beware of the "Don't Bother" Monster.



If it's your big dream and you really want to make it happen, never listen to this guy.
He always says "Don't bother."
He doesn't know what he's talking about.
Bother.

When you tell someone about a big dream or a great idea you have, they may be affected by the "Don’t Bother” monster. The Don't Bother monster knows a guy who knew a lady who already tried absolutely anything you want to do, and it didn't work out, so they will tell you, "Don't bother."

Well...bother.

Just because something didn't work for someone else, it doesn't mean it won't work for you...or that you won’t learn something even if that doesn’t work out, or meet someone that leads to something else that does work. No one who has ever achieved anything worthwhile has done so without facing rejection or low odds many times.

The biggest difference between them and others is that they continued to bother.
