8 Steps to Forming a Happiness Habit

Happiness is often found by training your mind to shift your focus. Like any habit, it will take awareness, commitment, practice, and time to change. 

1. Focus on what you have, not on what you want.

2. Focus on what you can do, not on what you can't. 

3. Focus on what is your responsibility, not on someone else to blame.

4. Focus on what is in your control, not on what is out of your hands.

5. Focus on your energy, your thoughts, your words, and your actions, not on all those that surround you.

6. Focus on your goals, not on envy of others achievements. 

7. Focus on your gratitude and peace, not on those things or people who cause you to forget both if you allow it.

8. Focus on your happiness and invest in it every day.
