Enjoy Your Happiness.
"Must be nice."
"Easy for you to say."
"Well, you must not have been through much."

"Well, you must not have been through much."
When you hear statements like these from someone, there are a few things to realize.
1. The person has lived through pain
2. The person has not resolved their pain and probably doesn't know how to
3. The person is holding on to a victim story

At this point, they are unhealed. They cannot be happy seeing others happy and feel both envy and resentment when they see others doing well because they don't believe the same can be true for them.
It has nothing to do with you.
Statements like this are consciously or subconsciously trying to bring you down. They try to impose guilt and pain onto a person for no other reason that that person is doing well.
You can have compassion for them but don't feel you need to enjoy your life less or defend your worthiness of happiness.
Of course you deserve happiness. Of course you've had struggles, too. And of course you being happy or doing well should not make them feel bad. What, if you were doing awful and were miserable they'd be happier? That doesn't even make any sense.
But right now, they just can't see that.
Celebrate with those who can, instead.
