Healing from a damaging relationship happens in two phases:
1. Not wanting them back in your life anymore, realizing and fully
accepting that they won’t change.
2. Letting go of the pain and resentment and no longer feeling strong emotions of anger or sadness or like a victim of the past.
It takes time, effort, and a lot of courage, but remember you are stronger every day and you have a beautiful life ahead of you.
