Having to wait on another person can be very frustrating. If you can't do anything about it right now, driving yourself crazy in the meantime won't help.

Take a few deep breaths and put your mind on other things for now.

Avoid putting yourself in the position where you need to rely on them again in the future to save yourself future frustration.

If you're nice, patient, and understanding, you may find this isn't appreciated much besides in words.

If you're being put last, speak up before getting angry about always being put last. Asking someone to value your time and consider your feelings isn't being demanding or needy. It's asking them not to take your kindness for granted, which they may be unaware that they are doing.
