Recognizing patterns is essential to positive change. If something happens by chance from an outside influence, there's not much that a person could have done to prevent it from happening in the past or again in the future. But if there is a pattern that keeps repeating, a person has to reflect on what led to it to determine their role in causing it. This will show how they can prevent it from happening again, or even have the opposite happen in the future for a much better result.
