Expressions - Two birds

We may as well feed two birds with one hand.

I don't know when expressions were made, but some of them are awfully, well, awful.

"There's more than one way to skin a cat"

"We may as well kill two birds with one stone"

"There's no sense flogging a dead horse."

Really? What kind of awful thought processes coined these terms?

Maybe it's about time we make up some new terms and rid ourselves of those nasty old ones.

So here's a new one....no more killing birds with stones. Now, we may as well feed two birds with one hand.
