Misunderstandings

Some misunderstandings are just that…good people who have not yet understood each other. If a disagreement arises, seek first to try to understand their point of view and then try to communicate yours to them.

Often times, disagreements can get much bigger than they ever needed to be when feelings get hurt or blame and fault are the priorities.

Make the priorities to understand and resolve instead. Not every disagreement can be resolved peacefully, but some can if approached with a positive and open mind.

It can feel like a waste of time if the other person instead gets really mean or tries to blame you anyway  but you can't know how things will turn out beforehand.

You can only treat it as best you can and then see if they will respond openly as well or not.

If they don't, it wasn't a waste of time as you couldn't have known their choices before they chose them.
