Doing Stupid Things.
You can warn people not to do stupid stuff, you can worry about them, but sometimes you have to just let them learn for themselves...
Especially if you realize it was something that you had to learn for yourself, too, no matter what anyone said at the time.
Best you can do to is be there to catch them when they fall, or at least soften the landing with some
words of encouragement to help them get back up again.
You may be tempted to say, “I told you so” but that will only make them feel worse, and that’s likely not your goal at all.
