Trust - Earned or Given?

Living in a world without trust is truly painful. When a person says, "trust is something that needs to be earned," it's a big sign that this person's trust was broken one too many times, and they got fed up. Without trust, stories are invented and drama flows freely. With trust, a person can take people's word at face value, not read into things negatively, and just be happier. It was not up to you to be lied to, but it is up to you to trust again.

I am a die hard truster. I believe it is a conscious decision we make every day to be honest and trustworthy---therefore I am trusting.

  2. What do you do if you married to someone who is known to all friends and family as highly ethical and trustworthy and you find out that he has been living a double life for three years, lying and cheating with another woman. He accused you of cheating while he was the one who was doing it. The woman he was cheating with constantly posts Doe Zantamata sayings about trust on her facebook page, as though she has no conscience or idea that she cannot be trusted. I officially give up on trust!!!! True story.
