Feeling extra irritated? Blame the moon.

Are you feeling extra irritated?
Blame the moon. When there is an approaching full moon, it has an affect on water. Tides rise, as opposing magnetic pull is increased. People are made up of about 65-70% water, so it's only natural that each of our own tides are rising...we're more prone to feeling angry, pressured, irritated, and frustrated over even the littlest of things at this time.
Is this a bad thing? Not really. It just means that there is an increase of energy. How you use that energy is up to you. It does need to be released in order for calm to return. Use it as extra motivation to get things done that you've been putting off. Clean out that garage, go for a run, do something constructive with all that physical energy. If it feels overwhelming, breathe, breathe, breathe.
After the full moon, the pressure will be released, and you will go back to feeling like yourself again.
Scienctific and social studies of the "full moon effect" differ. Some say there is a direct correlation, and some say there is none at all. But for the majority of people, there is definitely a pent up energy feeling in the days before the full moon.

Metaphysically, the April full moon is the "Moon of Regrets." Memories of any past regrets of not being, not doing, staying in something too long, or giving up too soon will pop into the mind.

The Full Moon is the time to let go.

So for April, figure out what regrets you're still holding on to. Think about why at the time you didn't act on them. Was it fear, insecurity, worry? Make peace with your past self and know that although those opportunities passed, there will be more opportunities for you in the future. No matter how much regret one holds about the past...it cannot be changed.

In the next two weeks before the New Moon, think about and even make notes about what you intend to do. You don't want to find yourself a few years from now with a whole new set of regrets, so take the time to do some preventive work.

Write down a list of all the things you want to do, be, or have. Each day, make a little note, or take some time to think about how you can go about doing something in the direction of those things. Even if it's just Internet research. Research can be the biggest part of taking the first step towards something. The second step though, is action. Trying new things, even if they fail, you'll be one step closer to your goals. As Thomas Edison said, he tried 10,000 ways to figure out electricity. He didn't see it as 10,000 failures, but 10,000 ways he knew wouldn't work! They were all needed to find the one that did. And as proof of you reading this right now, thank goodness he didn't give up at 9,999.
