The mind, the body,
the surroundings may change.
But through it all, deep down,
the heart stays the same.

It longs to be free
from sadness, anger, and pain,
and it’s up to you, to free it again.

Choose to trust, choose to love,
both yourself and others.
Forgive all who hurt you,
especially your fathers and mothers.

When you were born,
you knew love...that’s all there was.
And you will get there again,
because that’s what love does.
